Four persons yesterday sustained varying degrees of injuries in two separate auto crashes on Tuesday in Abuja.
Three of the victims were rushed to the hospital in a police pick-up van while the fourth person was conveyed by a female civil defence officer.
The crashes which put a halt to
vehicular movement along the Tafawa Balewa Way, involved three cars — a taxi, a black Honda civic and a Toyota Carina car.
From the look of things it was observed that that the Toyota car rammed into the Honda Civic.
The taxi which had passengers lost control and hit a streetlight pole a few metres from the first accident scene.
The scene was later cleared by men of the Federal Road Safety Corps to ease the traffic jam that had built up on the Tafawa Balewa Way.
